Hey there! Long time no chat. I’ve learned over the past few years, since Blank came out, that being a teacher, a mother/wife and a writer AND maintaining my author social media accounts (this blog, facebook, twitter) is an impossible dream. There’s just no time. Plus, to be honest, it feels silly to post when I’d only keep saying the same thing: I’m working on a new novel. It’s going painfully slow.

But today I have a special reason to post: a student here in Calgary, Si Xuan Wang, made some really cool Blank-inspired manga. It was really fun to see Jessie and Stephen and the rest of the crew come alive on the page. She’s so talented – thank you very much, Si Xuan Wang! And she’s given me permission to share the comics, so here they are for your viewing pleasure. (I especially love the way she drew Ramses, the bison bull. So cool.)
